countrykub. I have had that name for roughly seven or eight years. Why the change? Just felt, at this point in my life, that it was needed. "Meteron" is my gaming name I use online, and I feel more attached to that name now than I do to countrykub. So there ya go!
I have the best boyfriend in the world,lucentnotion on here. He is full of win and awesome, and I love him very very much.
Well at the end of April 08 I made the move to Chicago and Jim and I got our own place and by May 1st we were moving in our stuff!
I'm a geek nerd boy at heart here. Gaming is a big part of my life. I have pretty much every system dating back from the Atari 2600 to current gen Xbox 360. My favorite system of all time probably has to be the Sega Dreamcast. That system died way too soon. Gaming genres that I like include RPGs (Final Fantasy games, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Secret of Mana, Xenogears, Xenosaga, Wild Arms, Breath of Fire, the "Tales of" series... etc)... FPS (first person shooters)... some action/platformer games. I am also a MMO (World of Warcraft, EverQuest 2) addict. Also since moving to Atlanta I have learned how to play good ole pen and paper D&D. Told ya… geek nerd!
Also love anime and old school cartoons. Thunder Cats (quite possibly all time fav), Transformers, Voltron.... anime wise; Full Metal Alchemist, The Slayers, Outlaw Star, Noir, DBZ, Last Exile, Ghost in the Shell (Stand Alone Complex), Magic Knight Rayearth, Sailor Moon (say nothing.. I loved the show), Rune Soldier... oh and several several others. Name it... I have probably seen it or at least heard of it.
I have a weird taste in music and movies. Music wise... you can hear me listening to Metallica one minute then Norah Jones playing the next. Movies... I'm a horror buff. Love the scary movies. Normally I like what others like... sometimes I'm like "WTF" and other times people look at me funny when I say I love certain movies.
I am a sports nut too... I love football. When the NFL season kicks in you will find me sitting in front of the TV watching every game possible! Also love the baseball season. I would like to start going to more games because it is much more fun to go in person. Also… I am a huge NASCAR freak. #24 baby!! Woot!
Last but not least... I am a computer nerd. Love building and repairing the things. Tinkering with the inside of a computer is a joy to me. Yeah can be frustrating at times but it is really like a puzzle and I love solving puzzles.
